Beautiful Formia Vetri di Murano art glass elephant figurine, handcrafted in Italy.
This striking elephant features a dramatic combination of black, clear and silver glass, with a beautiful flowing/wavy pattern running through the head and body. The large glossy black ears and raised black trunk contrast beautifully with the clear glass accents.
The elephant measures approximately 5.75\" tall and features the desirable trunk-up pose, traditionally associated with good luck.
A partial original Formia Vetri di Murano label remains attached to the underside, with portions of the lettering still visible.
The figurine is in excellent pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks or repairs observed. The glass remains bright and glossy and displays beautifully.
A wonderful piece for collectors of Murano glass, Formia art glass, Italian decorative glass, elephant figurines, or Mid-Century-inspired décor.
