Though they have some problems, the value of these magazines lies most notably in their article contents and their prolific advertisements. The articles are a fascinating look at a mix of optimism, spin, facts, and lies all being told together as various industries tried to shape perspectives during the Great Depression. Also the advertisements are top tier Art Deco for nearly every kind of industry or luxury goods. The ads are bright and beautiful works of art in and of themselves.
