When Ideal issued its 12\" vinyl Shirley Temple doll in the late 1950\'s, it also issued loads of darling outfits and accessories to go with that doll. Those separate outfits and accessories were sold in individual boxes, four (4) of which are listed here. Two of these boxes are empty and two have unused Ideal Shirley Temple 12\" tagged doll clothing in them. The boxes are in good condition overall with some average wear to be expected in cardboard and cellophane this age. One of the boxes has two tears in the cardboard front, with one tear having been reinforced with clear tape. Another box has one tear in the cardboard side with clear tape over it. The other two boxes do not have any rips or tears in the cardboard In addition, the cellophane is loose on two of the boxes, but is still present.
The two doll outfits are made by Ideal specifically to fit their 12\" vinyl Shirley Temple doll issued in the late 1950\'s-early 1960\'s. One outfit is a red, white and black cotton plaid dress with an attached white cotton half slip, and the other outfit is a navy blue sailor suit with white middy trim in a jacket, long pants and a white cotton sailor cap. Both outfits are clean, unused and never laundered. They\'re both tagged with the Ideal Toy Corp.
