Mid-Century Modern abstract painting from the artist GUEZ. From the energetic “space burst” mid-century era. In a wide, whitewashed wooden frame common to the 70s/80s era. We’re guessing this is from the 1970s but unable to find a date on the artwork. Some dust and wear from storage. Goes beautifully in a warm minimalist, industrial, or MCM home. Or in a room or hallway with a dark wall covering (like a slated grey or deep blue). Everyone we’ve known comments on and loves this piece, we just don’t have room for it.
