Georg Jensen Acorn Sterling Silver Cold Cut Fork Denmark Very Rare 6 5/8” 25.6g
Georg Jensen sterling silver 2-tine cold cut fork in the Acorn pattern, designed by Johan Rohde and introduced in 1915. Marked GEORG JENSEN, STERLING, DENMARK. The straight-tine form is properly identified as a cold cut fork for serving sliced meats and other foods.
Measures approximately 6.5” long and weighs 25.60 grams. Olive and pickle forks are specialty utensils for spearing small foods and often use narrow, hooked, barbed, or specially shaped tines for added grip. This Georg Jensen piece has two long straight tines, distinguishing it from those forms despite olive/pickle terminology sometimes used in resale listings.
Surface scratches, light wear, and tarnish/patina consistent with use. Tines are straight. No monogram.
