This one is for the true diehard Glock collectors--a near impossibility to find more than forty years after printing. If you are familiar with the Glock story, then you might know that the first guns to come to the US for commercial sale were imported in 1986 and the first several thousand came with an English language manual that looks very similar to this item, but was dated to November 1985. That first US version is extremely rare and hard to find in itself, but this listing is for the German language manual that preceded the 11/85. These were printed to go with very early commercial production Glock 17s made between 1983 and 1986 (approximately). None were brought in with those early US imports as the '85 edition had already been printed (and was the correct language).
The first serial prefix that was brought into the US was AF000US-AF999US but in the forty years subsequent, a small number of pistols from the AA to AE serial ranges have been imported on the secondary market--this is the correct manual for those guns and any other early Euro version model 17s (those that don't have a US suffix in the serial number). Just due to the nature of the market and durability of a paper manual in comparison to a Glock, there are fewer manuals left in existence than the guns they originally belonged to.
