This is a vintage Mexican sombrero, made by Pigalle. The inside is marked XXXXX on the inside and is labeled Pigalle. It is constructed from blue velvet and features intricate white lining and white decorative trim. The design includes colorful geometric stitching or sequins arranged in star patterns. These hats are typically associated with mariachi or charro costumes. The hat measures approximately 19”in diameter, and 7” on the inside opening of the hat. The hat is in excellent condition. The hat is a little dusty from being stored by the previous owner. Please see pictures.
