The impact of her work lies in its vivid color, variety of styles and diverse subjects. This is an original watercolor of a Kentucky landscape on a windy fall day. Clearly identified in pencil verso. It shows brilliant use of color. It is signed in the painting and in pencil verso with the spelling of Harriett with two "T's". Locates to "Kentucky" and was gifted in the family to Sally Diehl Kriskas with a reference to "Grandmother". I believe Harriett gifted this painting to her granddaughter. Today her granddaughter is 85 years old and still lives in Columbus.
Frame measures 29 1/2" by 35". Sight measures 20" by 25".
