Boeing 747-830, manufacturer serial number 37838, registered D-ABYN and named \"Niedersachsen,\" flies for Lufthansa wearing the carrier\'s \"100 Years\" anniversary livery, a dark blue design featuring an oversized crane logo applied at San Bernardino, California, in March 2026 to mark a century since Lufthansa\'s January 6, 1926, founding. The sixth aircraft to receive the commemorative scheme, joining an A380, two A320neos, an A350, and a 787-9, D-ABYN re-entered service on Lufthansa\'s Frankfurt-Los Angeles route on March 6, 2026, with a further A350-1000 expected to complete the seven-aircraft centennial fleet later that year.
