A classic from the controversial Dr. Estabrooks, who was a proponent of using hypnosis in war on POWs, for mind control, for spies and most controversially: using hypnosis in targeted assassinations. He often hinted at having worked for the CIA and the FBI and the time frame would place him there from before the Kennedy years up to later, during the CIA’s MK ULTRA period of clandestine research and while the FBI was run by J. Edgar Hoover. His work for these agencies, if any, has never been made public. In later editions he removed the controversial chapters found in this copy on how authoritarians and dictators use mass hypnosis.
