Speed Demon comes from the Superior Foes of Spider-Man comic run. The Absorbing Man wave was the first Spider-Man Legends wave of 2016, and Superior Foes influenced its lineup, with both Speed Demon and Beetle drawn from that series. The figure uses the lean, highly articulated Superior Spider-Man body, and the costume is done entirely in paint: red and dark blue with gold stripes and lightning bolts. The standout piece is the disembodied head of crime boss Silvermane riding a remote control car, a nod to the comic. The head is a standard-size Legends head and comes off the car, so collectors can put it on another figure.
