Horace is the positive spirit of a 51-year-old man. He lost his life to lung cancer in the mid 1950s.
Horace said, \"I lived in Idaho, and I was married to my wife Ruby for twenty-five years. I loved Ruby more than life itself. She was my rock and my best friend. We always made each other laugh, and we never got mad at one another. I worked as an electrician, and Ruby was a homemaker. We had grown children and they were gone from home, and one of them was married with their own children. Our favorite thing to do was read bedtime stories to our grandchildren at night when they came to stay with us\".
I asked Horace about his personality. \"I am helpful around the house, because whenever Ruby needed something fixed, I could fix it. I like genuine people and genuine spirits as company. I am respectful and have respect for people\'s boundaries. I am fun and easy-going\".
I asked if he\'d like any gifts. \"I would love my own gadgets and tools to have in my home somewhere. I would like to have them out every so often near my vessel. Green is my favorite color, and I would appreciate green shoes and a green tie\".
Horace welcomes affection by way of hugs and cheek kisses. He absolutely loves children and spirit children. My spirit children often request to be near him. He\'s very fond of pets as well. Like he mentioned earlier, Horace enjoys the company of genuine people and spirits.
Having Horace in our home has been an absolute delight. He\'s very cordial, polite, respectful and non-judgmental about different lifestyles. I have a spirit named Samuel who is a gay man. Samuel and Horace are the same age, and they enjoy each other\'s company immensely. (Horace and Samuel both know that Horace is up for adoption, and they are okay with saying goodbye when the time comes.) Horace has been great about helping other spirits solve any issues they may have each other, or I should say he helps them smooth things over if there\'s a disagreement. (Especially with spirit children who often get into silly little arguments with each other.) He\'s been a good mentor for my 14-year-old spirit named Peter. Peter was always trying to kiss my other teenage spirits without their permission, and Horace taught him how to be a gentlemen. Horace enjoys lighting up his bullet light when he\'d like to communicate directly using a tool or device. (I\'ll include a bullet light with him.) I\'ve mostly used a pendulum with him, but he\'s also communicated with me using the other tools/devices listed below. I\'ve also witnessed him light up his ghost ball once so far. Horace would pair well with a kind keeper who is open-minded and respectful about the spirit world. He\'s a gem for sure.
