Fresh from an estate comes this Heil Sound Goldline GM-5 microphone. The mic has both wide and narrow settings. The narrow setting uses the HC-5 element. This element offers mid-range voice articulation tailored for clear everyday rag-chewing on older rigs. The mic has a 4-pin XLR connector and is meant to be used with Heil adapter cables that are designed to match specific brands of radios.
The estate owner had three of these mics. This one is in its original packaging, which implies that it\'s new/unused, though in looking at it, it does have light wear such as you would expect to see from moving in and out of the common Heil desk stand. In normal use you\'d never notice this.
I did put the mic on the air and made several contacts with it; it works just fine on both settings.
