The square scarf features an intricate hunting scene with figures on horseback and elephants pursuing tigers, deer, and birds set amidst scrolling foliate borders. The colorway is composed of a pale blue background with figures rendered in shades of green and yellow, accented with navy blue and black borders. The scarf is finished with hand-rolled hems. Markings include the printed title CHASSE EN INDE near the top center, HERMES-PARIS at the bottom center, and the copyright mark (c) HERMES in one corner. A small white fabric care label is attached to one corner.
