This is a mid-century 1940s dress belt buckle featuring a rare dual-maker collaboration. The rectangular engine-turned body is made with sterling silver, bronze and 10k gold-fill, by the renowned Hickok company. Mounted perfectly at the center is a highly detailed, crest depicting a unicorn with wings and knight rider over a \"CHAMPION\" banner, complete with its original vibrant red enamel shield with a “5” on it.The reverse mechanism reveals that the central emblem was custom-struck and mounted by Gordon B. Miller & Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio—a premium 20th-century manufacturer specializing in corporate achievement, safe driving, and industrial milestone awards.
