For sale is my Hitachi HT-40S turntable. This was my first record player. I purchased it used probably 20-30 years ago. It still works fine. However, at some point there was a crack in the arm up towards the headshell. You can see this in the photos. I glued the arm to stabilize it. Basically the headshell section had some slight left/right wiggle. It has no movement now. But, I think I\'d want to get a replacement arm before using this again.
Alternatively, you could part it out.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THEY ARE SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS, THIS DOES NOT HAVE THE LID OR HINGES
Because of the issue, I\'m selling the turntable as-is. With that said, it does turn on, the platter spins, and it outputs music/sound.
I have a couple of different shipping options listed so that you can pick the most economical.
