The Tickbriar Home Cheese Press is a sturdy, easy-to-use press designed for making hard and semi-hard cheeses at home. Its dual-spring system applies smooth, balanced pressure for cheeses such as cheddar, Colby, Gouda, Monterey Jack, Parmesan, Manchego, and queso fresco.
The newly added adjustable draining foot raises the back of the waterproof HDPE base approximately 2–3 degrees, helping whey flow away from the cheese mold during pressing. Lower the foot when you prefer the base to sit level.
Handcrafted poplar wood beams, stainless-steel threaded rods, durable hardware, and a thick waterproof base provide the strength and stability needed for dependable pressing. Large hand knobs make pressure adjustments simple—no hanging weights are design for balanced pressure

CHEESE PRESS COMPRESSION CHART
Easily adjust pressing pressure by measuring how far the top beam moves downward from the starting position.
PRESSING FORCE TOP BEAM COMPRESSION
20 lbs - 1/3 inch
40 lbs - 2/3 inch
60 lbs - 1 inch
80 lbs - 1 1/2 inches
100 lbs - 1 3/4 inches (Warning: 1 3/4" is near the maximum compression of the spring. Further tighten could damage the spring).
How to Use:
Lower the top beam until the springs just make contact with no appreciable compression. This is your starting point. Continue lowering the beam by the distance shown above to achieve the approximate desired pressing force.
Example: For approximately 60 lbs of pressing force, lower the top beam 1 inch from the starting position.
Pressure values are approximate and are based on the compression rate of the dual-spring system.
Always tighten both sides evenly to keep the pressing beam level.
