For half the cost of a package, you can catch honey bees for free! Over and over. This box is 10 gallons (40 liters), perfectly sized. It holds 6 standard Langstroth frames (not included). 18.5x9x16 inches tall inside dimensions. Telescopic cover and the entrance wheel pictured. These are un painted, all plywood (no OSB) construction. You\'ll just need frames and an attractant I\'ve made sure these are well built and will last several years, catching many swarms. We\'ve caught 30 swarms over the past 2 seasons with 18 boxes. Everyone should have at least a couple boxes.
Includes an attached cleat for the integrated hanging bracket(shiped inside). Just attach the bracket to the tree and hang the box right on it. This will hold your Trap while you use a rachet strap around the box and tree together. It will hold an empty box just fine, I make no claims after it has bees and honey in it. I\'m sure it\'ll hold 50lbs easily, but use a strap always!!
