Hubrig Volkskunst Erzgebirge Wooden Figurines – Little Gardener Girl & Cat – Germany
Charming pair of authentic Hubrig Volkskunst hand-painted wooden miniatures from the Erzgebirge region of Germany.
The larger piece depicts Hubrig's wonderful Little Gardener scene featuring a kneeling girl in a red-and-white polka-dot dress and sun hat tending her garden with a watering can. The scene includes a wooden birdhouse, flowers, garden details and a small blue bird.
Also included is a small black-and-white cat miniature playing beside a ball of yarn.
Both pieces retain Hubrig Volkskunst labels on the underside, as shown in the photographs.
Beautifully detailed traditional Erzgebirge woodcraft with bright hand-painted finishes and lots of tiny decorative details.
Pre-owned condition with normal light signs of age/display. Please examine all photographs closely for condition, as these small handmade figures have delicate components.
