Fitting Instructions for ElectricWindows with an Anti-Trap Device:
Takecaution when handling the wind deflectors, as some edges and corners may besharp.
Openthe window completely and lubricate the milled edge of the deflector witheither silicone spray or washing up liquid. Allow it to dry slightly beforeproceeding.
Removeall of the adhesive tape from the deflector.
Startingwith the side mirror end of the window, rest the bottom edge of the deflectoron the hard rubber window seal. Note: Placing it inside the soft part of therubber trim may cause instability and window obstruction.
Pushthe other end of the deflector into the window channel, gently bending it ifnecessary.
Useboth hands to ease the milled edge of the deflector into the remaining windowchannel, ensuring it stays between the rubber and the metal frame.
Closethe window in small increments, assisting with your hand if needed.
Fitthe provided clips on each side, paying attention to the position where thewindow meets the most resistance.
Additional Tips:
Toensure proper functionality, operate the electric window button and graduallyclose the window in several small steps. Repeat this process at least fivetimes.
Finally, operate the electric window button and slowly closethe window completely. Afterward, keep the door window closed for 24 hours toallow the wind deflector to settle into the rubber under the permanent pressureof the glass.
Forrear deflectors, insert them at an angle into the window channel, slide thelower end into position, and secure with the provided metal clips.
