ITM\'s Eclypse R — badged \"Eclypse Racing\" in period catalogs — was Italmanubri\'s road racing quill stem, sold alongside the better-known 800 Open in ITM\'s Italian-made lineup. Where the 800 Open is known for its hinged, open-face clamp, the Eclypse R uses a conventional two-bolt front-face clamp, built for road use on 1\" threaded steerer tubes. The quill is stamped directly with \"MISURA 110\" — Italian for \"size 110\" — confirming the 110mm extension on the metal itself, alongside the standard minimum-insertion \"STOP\" mark with hash lines.
This is a road-specific Eclypse: 22.2mm quill diameter, fitting standard 1\" O.D. threaded steerer tubes, with a 25.4mm handlebar clamp. Note this is not the same stem as ITM\'s MTB \"Eclypse,\" which uses a larger 1-1/4\" (25.4mm) quill — if you\'re shopping for a period-correct road build, this is the correct version.
