Offered is a IWC Pilot Chronograph reference IW377714 inVery Good Pre-Owned condition, with Box and Papers.
The IWCPilot Chronograph occupies a well-defined position in the IWC catalogue: atool-watch-lineage chronograph that prioritizes legibility and mechanical integrityover decorative conceit. The IW377714 is the blue-dial expression of this reference, aconfiguration that commands consistent collector attention within the Pilot family. Itsproportions and function-first design language trace directly to the cockpitinstrumentation aesthetic that has defined IWC\'s aviator watches for decades.
TheIW377714 is powered by Caliber 79320, a column-wheel integrated chronographmovement built on the robust Valjoux architecture and regulated to 4 Hz with a44-hour power reserve. The column-wheel construction delivers precise, tactilechronograph engagement and is a meaningful step above cam-actuated alternatives at thisprice tier. The movement has been regulated and cased by IWC to manufacture standards, providing a reliable and well-supported platform.
The case is executed in 43mmstainless steel with a soft-iron inner case providing inherent antimagneticprotection, a functional specification directly inherited from the professional pilottool-watch tradition. The blue dial presents large Arabic numerals with luminescenttreatment, a small seconds subdial at nine o\'clock, and a 30-minute chronograph counterat three, maintaining clear hierarchy under low-visibility conditions. The watch isfitted on a black leather strap with a stainless steel pin buckle, consistent with theutilitarian brief of the Pilot line.
