Wizard III Neck for Fast and Fluid Playing
The S520AH is equipped with Ibanez’s renowned Wizard III maple neck—known for its thin, flat profile and ultrafast playability. It features a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets for smooth, articulate runs across two full octaves. Whether you\'re shredding lead lines or exploring chordal textures, the neck’s low-profile design allows for unmatched comfort and control.
Quantum Humbucker Pickups for Articulate, High-Speed Tone
Loaded with a pair of Quantum humbuckers, the S520AH delivers tight, punchy tone with accelerated bass response and high-end clarity. These pickups are designed for fast, responsive tracking—ideal for staccato riffing, sweeping solos and palm-muted chugs. With its balanced midrange and wide dynamic range, the S520AH excels in hard rock, metal and beyond.
Edge-Zero II Tremolo for Stability and Comfort
The Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge provides a lower profile design for enhanced playing comfort while maintaining the stability and tuning precision demanded by modern players. Its stud-lock function keeps everything in place, even through aggressive divebombs and expressive vibrato. Combined with locking tuners, this system ensures your tuning stays tight through any performance.
Distinctive S Series Body Design
True to the S series legacy, the S520AH features a sculpted ash body that is both visually striking and ergonomically comfortable. Lightweight yet tonally resonant, the guitar is designed for hours of fatigue-free playing without compromising on sustain or output.
