This is an exceptionally substantial piece of pressed glass, weighing approximately 5 lb 2 oz empty. The pitcher measures approximately 9 inches tall and features a dramatic scalloped/sawtooth rim, large molded handle, deeply detailed pattern, and the molded NUCUT mark visible on the interior base.
Imperial’s NUCUT line was produced to capture the brilliance and appearance of cut glass through highly detailed pressed-glass designs, making these pieces especially attractive to collectors of early American glass.
