Imperial Russian Silver and Crystal Inkwell:

This is a late 19th century Imperial Russian crystal and sterling hinge topped inkwell. The silver top has a floral repoussee design and marked “84” which is the silver standard. (84 zolotnik). I cannot make out the makers mark. There are signs of wear, a dent at the top of the lid and fine scratches on the bottom of the inkwell. There are tiny chips and scratches along some of the side edges of the inkwell.
