Original 1975 Johnny Tiger Jr. Portfolio of Indian Life six-print set, published by Ni-Wo-Di-Hi Galleries, Inc., Austin, Texas.
The complete six-print set is present, with all six works carrying the matching edition number 1158/3000 in pencil. Also included are the original Johnny Tiger’s Portfolio of Indian Life presentation folder and the original four-page Ni-Wo-Di-Hi Galleries pamphlet.
The accompanying pamphlet specifically identifies Portfolio of Indian Life as a set of six prints, consisting of three summer scenes and three winter scenes. Although the individual works carry nonconsecutive plate numbers, Plates 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 are the six works identified and described in the original portfolio literature.
The pamphlet also explains that in matched sets each print was numbered and one print was initialed by the artist. In this set, Plate No. 5, Camp Scene, is the artist-initialed print, in addition to being numbered 1158/3000.

ConditionVery good vintage condition overall. All six prints are numbered 1158/3000 in pencil and present very well. Plate No. 5 is additionally initialed by the artist in pencil, as described in the original portfolio pamphlet. Plate No. 8 shows some light discoloration.
