Introducing the KC1 energy supplier for SeikoKinetic™and Bulova Motion Quartz™ watches. The KC1 was developed by the Kinetivations LLC Founder and Principal Engineer, who is an Electrical Engineer (and avid Kinetic collector) with more than 40 years of experience developing and manufacturing consumer electronic products. The KC1 has been designed and built to the highest quality standards using the latest technology, tools, and techniques.

The KC1 is compatible with 10 Kinetic watch calibers: 1M, 3M, 4M, 5D, 5J, 5M, 7D, 7L, 7M, 9T, as well as the Bulova BP10 Motion Quartz and Seiko Epson PX8x series. Charging performance has been physically tested and verified. As well, the KC1 has been benchmarked against the legacy Seiko YT-02 Energy Supplier. Typical full charge time is 2-3 hours depending on the Kinetic caliber, or 15 minutes for a quick charge just to wear the watch if currently not running.

The KC1 has many advantages over the Seiko YT-02:

The following Kinetic watch calibers were used to physically verify KC1 charging performance:1M20, 3M23, 4M21, 5D22, 5D44, 5D88, 5J22, 5M22, 5M23, 5M25, 5M42, 5M43, 5M45, 5M62, 5M63, 5M65, 5M85, 7D48, 7D56, 7L22, 7M22, 9T82, PX84. Some of the calibers were tested with both titanium and stainless-steel case variants. In total, 35 different Kinetic watches were tested and verified. The BP10 caliber from Bulova was also thoroughly tested.

US/Canada/Japan+ power supply is provided by default. For UK or EU buyers please specify either the UK or EU power supply. Australia buyers are provided with the US bladed 240V/50Hz supply.

Another seller here on promotes a high speed mechanical winder to charge a Kinetic watch. That listing states that induction chargers will overcharge the watch, but this is a false statement. The Kinetic charging electronics has automatic charge current (mAmperes) limiting and battery voltage limiting circuits to protect the battery from overcharging. It is not possible to harm the battery with induction charging. I have personally characterized these limiter circuits, and besides, this makes sense because just wearing the watch during a high activity use case would overcharge the battery if these current and voltage protections were not in place. (the edge case here is a person wearing a kinetic watch who operates a jackhammer all day). Seiko\'s engineers back in the day did an excellent job designing the electronics to effectively charge and protect the battery.

• Fast delivery to Europe. Working like a charm. A Seiko Direct Drive from empty to full within 2 hours. In Japan a seller has a mechanical charger for Kinetics but it works at high speed, so the watch mechanism is heavily loaded in this way. The Kinetivations system is far to be prefered because there is no strain on the mechanics. I can highly recommend the Kinetivations and digisan924 with his aftersales.
