About this item
I bought this Pakon years ago when I shot a lot of 35mm film. I used it regularly to scan my own rolls and it worked well the whole time I owned it, including the last time I used it. I have since stopped shooting film, and the scanner has been in storage. Powers on fine just as I remember it.
The Pakon F-135 Plus was built for photo lab and drugstore use. It feeds whole uncut 35mm rolls or cut strips, finds the frames on its own, and scans an entire roll in minutes with no holders to load. It remains popular with film shooters who want fast 35mm scanning at home.
Why this example
This is the Plus model, which scans at up to 3000 x 2000 pixels and runs faster than the base F-135. It comes with the power supply and USB cable, and I am including a Windows XP license, which the official Pakon software requires. You will still need to download the Pakon software yourself. It is widely shared in Pakon user groups online.
Condition
- Function: worked well when last used. Not tested since it went into storage. Sold untested.
- Cosmetics: the plastic housing is yellowed with age. It was already yellowed when I bought it. This is cosmetic only.
