So, if you are looking at this sale, you are among thefew people who are interested in a VERY large panoramic camera. This is ofcourse the Korona 8x20 camera. I have used one for several years, and Irecently got this one through an estate. Lucky me, TWO 8x20 cameras. Thissale includes 1 film holder and a ground glass protector. There are severallens boards. Not all of them fit properly, some leak light at the edges. Thecamera is in good condition. I am not sure how much was a refurb job and howmuch a complete rebuild, but certainly the bellows are new. The camera works well,but let’s be clear this is not an easy camera to use. Also, this is an OLDcamera. I have checked for light leaks, but after it’s shipped to you therewill probably be some more. This camera is in NOT guaranteed to be in perfectcondition. I don’t see anything wrong, but I haven’t shot film with the camera.I have used this holder. It’s okay, at least before it was shipped. I will bebuying insurance on the shipping. If you areoutside the continental United States, I don’t think you should buy thiscamera; frankly I just don’t trust shipping a thing like this halfway acrossthe world. I will not ship it directly to anywhere outside of the U.S. if youwant to international shipping that is the only way it will get to you.
I normally try to ship right away. I have set aside shippingsupplies for the camera, but it may take me 3 or 4 days to get it packaged as wellas possible.
Film for 8x20 cameras is expensive. Also, it’s really onlyeasy to get once a year when Ilford cuts special sizes. You should know this beforeyou buy an 8x20 camera.
I will list a Goerz 16.5 inch Red Dot Artar a few minutes afterlisting this camera. I KNOW it covers 8x20 film. It’s in a barrel. You would needto mount it on a lens board and do something about a shutter. You could use thelens cap.
The starting price is considerably lower than other 8x20cameras on now. Shipping is a fixed price, which will include insurance.Thanks for your attention
