This is one of our largest pieces from Kurt Cobain's abandoned former Hollywood Hills home where he wrote a large portion of what would become the In Utero Album.
This is what appears to be a plumber's entry door used to cover the access to pipes somewhere in the house. Once side is white and the other is faded red. This piece and other interior pieces were discarded after workers did some work sealing up the home.
The board measures 2 feet 4 inches x 18.5 inches.
This is a piece of KC and Nirvana history. As with the home, the wood is very old but solid. An idea would be to cut out heart shapes and make a Heart Shaped Box from the wood--this was one of our original ideas before deciding to sell the piece.
