The Lionel 6417-1 Pennsylvania N5c porthole caboose without the "New York Zone" text is a highly sought-after postwar Lionel variation manufactured strictly in 1957. It was specifically produced for inclusion in the premium No. 2293W five-car freight set pulled by the GG1 locomotive and with the correct 6417-1 box.
The box still has all of its flaps and none of them were detached, but I did add tape to one of the flaps just to keep from losing it, and it can be easily removed for a proper repair. The caboose itself is still in un-run condition as you can tell by the wheels and the pickup, feel free to ask questions if you have any and thank you very much for visiting.
