Promethea Silk Moth (Live)Cocoon - $18.00 each. Cocoons are in diapause and will emerge next Spring 2027. Eggs were laid by various females, paired with wild males. Caterpillars were raised on sassafras.* Please acknowledge there maybe a small opening at the top of the cocoon. This is because I carefully examined the pupa to be alive before shipping out. This will not hurt the moth.However, I recommend to not further tamper with/remove pupa from silk cocoon.I will provide a care sheet to ensure a successful hatch in spring.** There will also be Luna, Polyphemus, Monarch, & a few Regal cocoons for sale in the upcoming weeks.
