One of the former executives at the Franklin Mint recently released a number of pieces of original artwork that was used for the illustrations in Franklin Mint Library books over about 25 years. Some of this artwork was from famous author books such as this one and also from Pulitzer Prize winner author books such as "Dragon's Teeth" and "The Last of the Mohicans" and World War II Artwork. We were able to acquire a number of these pieces and will be offering to you in the next few weeks. These items will be made separately in our online store from this one for your buying advantage!

The piece depicts the the liberation of Paris by the US Forces during the European Campaign of World War II. Beautiful coloring and details. Shows the troops on the beach with the landing craft and aircraft/ship support in the background.

The World War II Artwork is about 14" tall, by 14" across, by 1.25" wide. 20.75 tall by 20.25" across with the protective board and plastic. The artwork does not come in a frame, but with a board to protect with clear plastic. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
