FOR SALE are a pair of Lionel 8668 Northern Pacific dummy diesel units, produced during the MPC era. These are non‑powered units designed to accompany the powered Northern Pacific diesels of the same series.
Condition (Both Units)
Excellent cosmetic condition
Paint and graphics are bright and clean
No cracks, no rust, no structural damage
Trucks roll smoothly on both units
Fuel tanks and handrails intact
No boxes included
Both units match well in color and finish
These are clean, matched examples — ideal for completing an MPC Northern Pacific lash‑up or adding realism to a freight consist. Pairs of 8668 NP dummies are not common, especially in this condition.
I really can't hardly tell these two apart from each other. They are both in the same great condition without hardly any stray marks at all. The wheels present as perhaps never having been on a track.
