Based on the original Lionel 208 Metal Tool Kit, which came with four tools, I have collected over the years over 20 similar model tools for a train layout. I think the original came with a hammer, a shovel, a pickaxe and an axe, but I’m not entirely sure, so don’t hold me to it. Here we have more, a whole lot more. This set includes:

Not all of these are original Lionel 208 tools, but four are. No box or tin, they come loose. All are solid die cast iron and 90% rust fee. There is a bit of rust in the hammer and saw, easily buffed off or oil rubbed. The shovel has a bit of plaster residue on it. It cleans off.
These are solid sturdy prewar model tools, originally marketed as S Gauge, they will work on any layout. This is solid sturdy pre war craftsmanship at its best. Please study the pictures as they are the best descriptor and zoom in to see the finish on them.
There is not another collection like this out there being offered - most have 3,4,5 tools at the most, here you get 21 highly unusual tools. If you like unique one of a kind layout items, these are for you. No one else will have similar collected.
