Louis Lozowick (1892–1973) was an American modernist painter and printmaker closely associated with Precisionism. His work focused on urban and industrial subjects, rendered with sharp geometry and controlled tonal gradation. Lozowick’s prints are considered definitive expressions of American industrial modernism in the early 20th century.
