Lucchese Classics men’s cowboy boots, style L1007, size 13 2E (EE wide). Handmade, dated May 2016 from the interior stamp. Ostrich leg vamp with a smooth leather shaft.
The foot is genuine ostrich leg, cognac tan. The front of the vamp and toe shows the broad, glossy, overlapping shin scales; the quarters are the finer cracked pebble texture of the leg. The shaft is smooth tan leather, about 12 inches, with Lucchese’s multi-row flame stitch in cream and rust, leather pull straps, and a scalloped top. Snip toe (Lucchese toe 5) and a pitched cowboy heel (heel 4), roughly 1½ to 1¾ inches, on a leather sole with a stitched welt.
Interior stamp reads: HL 1007 / 54 13 2E 500417 / 5016. That is Classics style L1007, toe 5, heel 4, size 13, width 2E, stock 500417, made May 2016.
Bought new years ago and not often worn. They have been in a closet for more than 7 years. Shaft leather shows normal creasing from wear. Stitching is complete. No tears, repairs, or odor. Soles and heel caps show normal use and remain serviceable; see photos.
