Each set is assembled, matched, tested, documented, and prepared for the individual order. The test, plateau, and calibration or verification paperwork supplied with your set will be dated within one week of your order date.

🔬 CPM Face and Gamma Detector
The Ludlum 202-002 face is a general-purpose CPM-only count-rate face. CPM means counts per minute and displays the radiation events detected by the connected detector.
The Model 3 range selector extends the 0-5000 CPM face through its X0.1, X1, X10, and X100 positions, providing displayed ranges up to 500, 5,000, 50,000, and 500,000 CPM.
The included custom short-format detector is intended for sensitive gamma searching, screening, locating, and comparative survey work. The compact format is easier to store and handle while retaining the 1 x 1 inch scintillator configuration associated with full size 44-2-style performance.
✅ Individual Testing and Documentation
Each Model 3 is opened, inspected, cleaned, serviced as needed, and electronically verified across all count-rate ranges before shipping.
Each detector is individually plateau tested with the supplied meter configuration. The recommended operating point, discriminator setting, observed response, and test results are recorded for the actual set shipped.
The photographed example was configured at 600 volts with a 25 millivolt discriminator setting. The exact operating values for the unit assigned to your order may differ and will be documented on its individual paperwork.
The complete meter, detector, and cable combination is functionally verified together before it is approved for shipment.

Every set is guaranteed to arrive fully functional and ready to use. The meter, detector, and included cable carry a 1 year functional guarantee from the date of delivery under normal use.
The guarantee does not cover abuse, misuse, dropping, crushing, moisture intrusion, battery leakage, improper storage, contamination, unauthorized repair, tampering, modification, or damage caused by connecting incompatible equipment.
