M-111 1/18 CMC 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Speciale Le Mans Unopened. Scarce. This is one of the finest models produced by CMC. I\'ve been collecting and writing about toy cars since the mid 1990\'s. This model has been at the top of many collector\'s lists for quality and level of detail--cited as the best 1:18 production model ever made. It\'s a limited edition of 3000, and was very difficult to find when I purchased it. It was marked up significantly, for many years--often selling for 3 times the price of the plain version. For some reason it is now undervalued (IMHO), as are many other scarce models. This is such an important car, CMC produces it in 1:12 scale for $9k. It\'s 50% larger, but 15 times more expensive.
