DETAILED CONDITION REPORT: HARDCOVER The book is in Very Good condition. The original blue/teal cloth boards are exceptionally bright and clean. The gold-gilt embossed titles, spine lettering, and cover illustrations retain beautiful luster, shine, and sharp definition with minimal rubbing to the corners or spine tips. The binding is structurally sound and square.
DUST JACKET: Includes the incredibly rare original 1916 dust jacket. The jacket is in unrestored, antique condition showing characteristic age wear, including chipping along the top and bottom of the spine panel, minor edge tears, previous owner taped over and small open corner creases. It remains intact and offers excellent protection, serving as a massive rarity multiplier for this title.
Contents & Illustrations: The internal contents are clean, crisp, and bright throughout. There is no writing, highlighting, or library stamping.
