Marie Gabrielle was born and raised in France, where she trained and studied textile design and worked as a designer and colorist for the high-fashion, textile designer Bianchini Ferier.
Marie moved to the United States and started taking watercolor classes. Since then, Marie has become an accomplished watercolor artist and has received several awards for her paintings.
Nature is her inspiration, and especially the play of light on the landscape or subject matter most of her paintings are realized in plain air
Marie's work is internationally recognized and collected.
She lives in Santa Cruz, where she has been for many years, but visits France often.
Her use of color captures the beautiful scenery and mood of Santa Cruz and its surrounding areas.
