Detailed Description:Up for sale is an authentic vintage 1978 Mattel Electronics Hockey handheld LED electronic game, complete with its original factory box and user manual. An essential classic from the golden age of handheld electronics, this Hong Kong-manufactured game features iconic red/blue rink graphics, tactile control buttons, and classic period styling. Cosmetically, the handheld unit is in clean pre-owned condition with light signs of handling and surface wear consistent with age. Please note that one battery contact inside the compartment is missing, preventing the unit from powering on or being tested; it is being sold strictly AS-IS for parts, repair, or restoration as this terminal will need to be replaced. The original retail box shows vintage shelf wear, edge creasing, and corner wear typical for 1970s packaging, while the included manual remains intact and legible. Please examine all provided high-resolution photos carefully to inspect the exact condition of the battery compartment, box, manual, and game console prior to completing your purchase.
