Daybreak by Maxfield Parrish 22\" x 38\" (art image size) limited edition fine art collotype print (unframed) MINT condition In 1988, the original Daybreak painting was photographed with an 11\" x 14\" view camera in San Francisco, CA with special permission by the owner. Producing the most accurate copy of this masterpiece was embarked upon by the finest art printer in the world, Black Box Collotype. 23 archival pigments were utilized to capture every nuance of Parrish\'s work. A special paper was created called Opalescence and the printing process took 3 months to complete, using a now extinct technology called continuous tone printing (dichromate-based photographic process).
The printer is gone and there are only limited unframed/unsold prints leftover from the original run of 500. The print is about 10% reduced from the original (the owner didn\'t want it to be confused with the original) -- stamped and numbered by the Maxfield Parrish Collection. We are pleased to offer this highly collectible print for sale.
*Additional measurement info: There is about a 3/8\" white border space on all sides, making the total print size 22.75\" x 38.75\" Please feel free to ask any additional questions. Thank you for looking.
Images of original supplemental information regarding the artist and printing process are featured on listing, but this material is not included in sale.---
