What's Included:
Each unit purchased includes one Standard Model M1001 Mopeka Tank Check sensor (SKU: 2AHXJ-TC-SENSOR) and white dielectric grease in a resealable pouch (SKU: DG1) to apply to the sensor’s rubber “ear” that touches the tank to improve the sensor’s accuracy. A CR2032 lithium coin cell battery comes preinstalled in the sensor.
Usage:
With the help of the free "Mopeka TankCheck" app (available for Android and iOS), the fill level indicator of an unlimited number of propane tanks can be monitored. The app can be downloaded and inspected in advance. One Mopeka sensor per tank is required.
In the app you can choose between different propane tank sizes and orientations.
The first time that you use a new sensor, you need to press the green SYNC button 5 times in a row to wake it up from its dormant factory shipping mode.
When ready to connect the new sensor to the Mopeka mobile app, press and hold the green SYNC button until the sensor appears on the app (can take up to 10 seconds, so keep holding the button pressed).
The sensor is fixed magnetically under the steel propane tank, such that the rubber sonar “ear” is at the center of the round tank bottom. Optionally apply some of the enclosed dielectric grease to the rubber ear to improve the accuracy of the sensor.

Pro Tips:
• For more accurate measurements, add a dab of the included dielectric grease to the sensor's center rubber "ear" that makes contact with the bottom of the propane tank. If you need more, it is available online or from a local auto parts or hardware store.
• Weak signal? Raise the tank 1cm off the ground using Mopeka Tank Check Spacers available in the RhinoSource store on .
• Is your battery getting low after a year or two of use? Using a small screwdriver, carefully pry the case open and replace the CR2032 coin cell battery with the plus sign (+) facing up. A battery replacement kit is available on the RhinoSource store on .
