Thank you for looking,This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer who worked on Apollo and Space Shuttle missions including the Astro-1, Hubble, Chandra etc... and is for a set of items relating to his work on the Astro-1 Mission. Items include the following:
- ACHIEVEMENT AWARD CERTIFICATE - ASTRO-1 INTEGRATION TEAM - 11X14
- 2 ASTRO-1 JIS #1 Button Pins
- 5 ASTRO-1 Decals (4 different styles)
- 1 Negative appx. 4\"x5\" marked \"5 KODAK\" - negative/safety film seems to match up to one of the photos (see pic #2 - #3)
- 7 1st Gen Photos on \"THIS PAPER MANUFACTURED BY KODAK\" Paper - 2 have Purple Ink Stamp with NASA Details/Dates, etc. (3 of the photos are ARTIST SIGNED by Randy Van Nostrand
- 1 Polaroid Photo marked on back POLAROID L11232C18387A
- Teledyne Brown CONCEPT DRAWINGS
All items are in Very Good condition for use and age with some expected aging/storage wear. One of the photos has pin holes at corners from project board and another has some creasing (see last picture). Achievement Award has been stored folded and will be shipped folded. All decals are NOS and have never been used.
