RARE NEDOBECK 1986 24"x36" WHIMSICAL BEAR OIL PAINTING SIGNED AND DATED BY THE ARTIST. Our family was attending the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts in Wisconsin and in passing the very fine art work, a whimsical bear one cheek on a little red chair and a large ice cream cone in his paws caught our attention! The space was filled with his work, whimsical animal prints, watercolors, ink and some acrylic on paper. Not seeing how much the bear was we asked and found him very hesitant to sell it as he was going to use it for display and it was an unusual one-of-a-kind painting for him. We continued our discussion and he suggested we stop back later giving him more thinking time and he might sell it. Wanting the bear, we returned. After more hesitation, he came through with a "hefty price", our family loved the bear and were so happy we purchased it. After years of enjoyment, we are now down- sized, we are hopeful that we can find a new home to pass him on to, someone who will love him as we did for years. And that's the story!
