KNIGHT’S ARMAMENT KAC MRE — TITUSVILLE — NEW IN BOX
Excellent new-in-box example of the Knight’s Armament MRE / Modular Rail Extension, part of the classic KAC rail family closely associated with the GWOT era.
This is the later Titusville-marked version. Rail is new and unused, with components still sealed in the original plastic as shown. Includes the original KAC box, paperwork/card, and three 11-rib rail panels.
The MRE was designed to provide additional rail space forward of the front sight base while retaining the traditional fixed-FSB configuration. “More Real Estate” became the commonly used nickname for the system — and it remains one of the cooler pieces of early GWOT-era KAC hardware.
To the best of my knowledge, this example is from the later circa-2017 production, which was also the last production run of the MRE that I am aware of. These have not been in regular production for years, and complete unused boxed examples have become increasingly difficult to locate. Whether KAC ever manufactures another run is anybody’s guess.
CONDITION: New / new old stock. Sealed in factory plastic with its original factory packaging. Box shows shelf/storage wear consistent with age; please review photographs carefully.
