Airbus A350-941, serial number 255, operated by Lufthansa as D-AIXL and named \"Rostock.\" Built in 2018 with test registration F-WZGA, the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-powered aircraft was delivered to Lufthansa in November 2018 and entered service on November 29. Based primarily at Munich, D-AIXL has operated Lufthansa\'s long-haul network to destinations across Asia and North America. It experienced periods of storage during the pandemic before returning to regular service. In February 2026, D-AIXL received a distinctive special livery celebrating Lufthansa\'s 100th anniversary, making it one of the airline\'s most recognizable A350s. It remains active in 2026.
