HEY THERE, I discovered this old lot of FREE K2s and wanted to make them available to the knife community. (Although.. I’m tempted to keep them because I love this knife and wouldn’t mind having many backups/gifts for my kids for the years to come seeing as they don’t make this knife/multitool anymore!)Really the only negative anyone has ever spoken about the K2 is the 420 HC steel but that is a misunderstanding in my opinion! Leatherman has an excellent heat treat and to be honest you don’t want to have to brake out a fixed angle sharpener all the time and remove steel from your blade. In my experience, you can just strap this a few times or give it a couple passes on a ceramic rod and it brings it right back to razor sharp. I have plenty of decades old knives that are slip joints in a similar steel and they never ran out of blade steel after sharpening - as you’ll hear steel snobs purport. (I use to be one of them, still am kind of.)Hollow grinds are super slicey and retain their edge geometry over years of use! Remember, “geometry cuts”. Also, I think it just looks handsome yet wicked on this functional every day companion.Ok, before you read the stock description below.. Heres the deal for my store: I don’t do returns.
