1999 was a very interesting year for the Boy Band NSYNC. “NSYNC entered into a publicised legal battle with Lou Pearlman, due. to what the group believed were illicitbusiness practices on his part.
Another interesting side note. In 1998 I would run into a close friend of Chris Kirkpatrick (friend prior to fame). Chris told him this. He said they had toured for 3 years non stop. They had been the #1 merchandiser in the world for two years. Sold millions of records. After all that they had just now (1998) became a millionaire. They were getting ripped off like crazy. He told this friend they were going to sue and get out of the contract. Once they got of it, he told the friend, they would get some much money that he would buy this friend any car he wanted.
